

Dorset Council offer a range of methods for payment of your rates and water bills.
PAY ON THE INTERNET
1. If you are paying on the internet with a notice issued after the 5th December 2007 please use the following Service Tasmania link. You will need the Billpay Code and Reference provided on the back of your notice as shown below:
PAYMENT BY PHONE
Payment by phone may be made by calling Postbillpay on 1300 729 859 and follow the prompts. You will need your Billpaycode and Reference number which can be found on your notice.
You can also call 1300 366 741 to make a payment. You will need your Property ID which is located on the top left hand corner of your notice as shown above. (PLEASE NOTE - This service will no longer be available after the 31st January 2008)
PAYMENT IN PERSON
COUNCIL OFFICES
Present your notice with your payment to the cashier at the Scottsdale office, 3 Ellenor Street, Scottsdale.
Office hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Credit Card and EFTPOS are available.
AUSTRALIA POST
Payments may be made in Person at any Australia Post outlet Australia wide.
Simply present your notice with the Postbillpay details to the Australia Post cashier.
Pay your Water bill online with Bill EXPRESS using this link.
OTHER METHODS OF PAYMENT

The easiest way to pay multiple bills with regular monthly or fortnightly payments.
Want to avoid big bill payments? You can make one easy regular monthly or fortnightly payments to cover multiple bills. Dorset Council establishes the most appropriate instalment amount needed to cover your expected expenditure.
To know which other bills can be included in your payment plan, look for "Billmanager™ Accepted" next to the Postbillpay Logo on your bill.
You can make your Billmanager payment just like any other paper bill payment via postbillpay.com.au, by Phone, In Person and also via Direct Debit.

1. enter the required membership details
2. nominate the bills you would like to pay
3. choose monthly or fortnightly payments
4. choose the scheduled date on which you'd like your payments made
You will then receive a Welcome pack, including your membership card, and a letter outlining your scheduled instalment amounts and payment dates.
