Council Meetings

Dorset Council Meetings are held monthly, are open to the public and commence at 6.00 pm at the Council Chambers, 3 Ellenor Street, Scottsdale (unless an alternative location is listed). Agendas for the meeting are available to the public and can be downloaded below or a hard copy collected from the Council Offices.

Council Meeting Audio

Audio from each meeting (previous six months only) is publicly available upon request and can be provided via an email link or copied onto a self provided USB.  Please contact Council's Customer Service team on 03 6352 6500 to get a copy.

Annual General Meeting

Council is required to hold their Annual General Meeting no later than 15 December each year.  Council held their AGM at the Bridport Hall on Monday 18 November, 2019.

Public Question Time and Deputations at a Council Meeting

Members of the public can ask questions or make a deputation (statement) at any Council Meeting.  The Public Question Time and Deputations Information Sheet gives you guidelines and the process on how to make a deputation or to speak during public question time.  You can also submit a question/s on notice to the General Manager 7 days prior to a Council Meeting.  Questions can be submitted any of the following ways:
