Ellesmere Cemetery | Tree and Fence Removal

Please be advised that work will commence on Monday 15th April 2019 at the Ellesmere Cemetery where trees on the back boundary will be removed. This is due to root intrusion of graves in the Monumental Section. The fence will also be removed and replaced.

Council Donation | Royal Flying Doctor Service

Yesterday, Mayor Howard presented Royal Flying Doctor Service CEO John Kirwan with a cheque for $1,685.50. This money is proceeds from the Scottsdale Waste Transfer Station Last Chance Resale 'Tip Shop' sales from August - December 2018.

2019 Education Scholarship Recipients Announced

Dorset Council are excited to announce the recipients of the 2019 Barry Jarvis Education Scholarships. All scholarships in this programme have been named in honour of the late Mayor Barry Jarvis, who sadly passed away in June 2015 and was a strong advocate of education in Dorset.
