Dorset Community Small Grants Program 2014/2015

The Dorset Council would like to thank the groups and individuals that took the time to prepare and submit an application for a Community Grant. Council congratulates the following groups and organisations on successfully obtaining financial support for their projects.

An event to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the first Tasmanian Women in Agriculture Gathering in Scottsdale in 1994.

Scottsdale Junior Football Club


Assistance with purchasing new equipment including jumpers, balls, drink bottles for the Scottsdale Junior Football Club.

Lions Club of Scottsdale

$ 500

Supporting the Lions Convention Civic Reception to be held in November 2014.  The annual convention will be held in Scottsdale.

Bridport Dolphin Guides


Contributing to the cost of 7 Girl Guides attend the Quambatook State Girl Guide Camp in Deviot in October 2014.

North Eastern Agricultural & Pastoral Society Inc.


Update and reinforce the Steel Rails around the Fat Cattle Yard to allow for a safe venue for exhibitors and spectators.

Bridport Men’s Shed


Support the initial stages of the project to establish a new Men’s Shed in Bridport
