Council Arrangements

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dorset Council closed the Council Offices and Depots to the public from Thursday 26 March, and has moved to internet and telephone-based customer service systems.

All Council functions remain operational.

During this time we ask that you consider submitting requests and queries electronically by one of the following means to ensure your request can be dealt with as effectively and promptly as possible:

With staff working offsite, customers will receive the most prompt and meaningful response if queries are emailed to the listed email addresses above rather than communicated via phone. Staff are checking emails regularly and focusing on ensuring that customers either get a full response, or an estimated response time within 1 business day.

If you are unable to submit requests or queries electronically, our friendly Customer Service staff can be reached by telephone on (03) 6352 6500 from 9.00am - 4.30pm and will work with you to find a solution.  Council ask that you please use the general phone number for all queries, even if you have a direct officer’s number during this time.
