Dorset Council facilities for hire include Community Halls and Recreation Venues.
Fees and Hiring Information
Since the 2017/18 financial year, Council decided to remove fees for the use of community halls and facilities when being used for community purposes, and the entry fees into the Scottsdale and Branxholm swimming pools have also been removed. Council's 2024/25 Fees and Charges Schedule is available here.

Council Owned and Managed Facilities for Hire
To hire a Council facility, the Facility Hire - Terms and Conditions must be read and an Application for Facility Hire Form must be completed.
Note: There is provision for hirers to purchase casual public liability insurance from Council when hiring a Council facility, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
