The Gladstone Community Open Space project has been initiated by FutureLinks Gladstone.
The project will see the development of a community open space at 11-15 Edward Street, Gladstone.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Dorset Council and FutureLinks Gladstone to outline the maintenance and management responsibilities of the park.
Early discussions and community consultations have identified some of the components that the community would like to see, these have then been costed and a draft concept plan developed in line with budget and maintenance requirements.
FutureLinks, with support from Council, is responsible for progressing the concept through to development stage.
Works Update: The site is currently undergoing weed management with works expected to commence early next year.
