Swimming Pools

The Dorset region has two public swimming pools, one located in Scottsdale and the other in Branxholm, to enjoy on a hot summers day!


 Scottsdale Pool Information

The 2019/2020 pool season will run from 5 November 2019 to 29 February 2020 with the following opening hours:

*Please note that the pool will be closed to the public until 3.00pm on weekdays between 5/11/2019 - 29/11/2019 due to the annual Swimming and Water Safety Program.The pool may also be closed to the public for other events as required and details will be posted on this page.

Scottsdale Pool Entry Passes

Families and Swim Club members will be provided with a season pass for the 2019/2020 season, with all other visitors receiving an entry pass that is valid for 20 entries.

Passes will be distributed at the pool during the first two weeks of the season and will then be available for collection from the Council Office.

Please Note:

Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over when visiting the pool.
