Included in the wellbeing packs are items such as face masks, respirators, specialist dietary dry food packs, medication, sanitary products, body wipes and ear plugs. Along with standard items, the packs provide a place for fire fighters to safely secure personal items such as spare clothing, glasses, electronic devices, keys and money. The packs arrived in mid-November and were presented to members at Fire Brigade training by Mayor Rhys Beattie on Thursday 27 November 2025.

Mayor Beattie was given a tour of the station and equipment by fire fighter Zoe Bennett, prior to presenting the packs to members, stating "awarding the grant to the Scottsdale Brigade is what the Community Grants program is about."

Brigade Chief Officer Bob Barrett thanked the Mayor for his attendance at the Station and the Council for approving the application. "The packs will go a long way to make the fire fighters life a bit more comfortable at incidents, enabling them to store personal items quickly and be ready to be taken on call outs", he said.
