Motorists are advised that Jensens Road will be closed from 7:00 am on Monday, 10 August 2026, until 5:00 pm on Friday, 21 August 2026, to enable the replacement of the existing bridge with a durable concrete structure.
The road closure will extend for approximately 500m on either side of the Jensens Road Bridge, as shown in the map below and the works are subject to weather conditions.
The new bridge is expected to provide a service life of 80–100 years, improving the long-term safety and resilience of the road network.
