Briefing of Decisions made at the Council Meeting held on 15 December at the Bridport Hall
- Held a meet and greet session prior to the Council Meeting for interested community members to meet and discuss general matters with Councillors and the Management Team.
- Acting as a Planning Authority, approved a planning application for construction and use of a new jetty including vehicle and pedestrian access infrastructure at Croquet Lawn Beach and Regatta Point, Bridport, subject to conditions.
- Received and noted a motion received at the 2025 Annual General Meeting to develop a Dorset Street Upgrade Assessment Strategy and deferred the item for discussion at a future Workshop.
- Adopted the Buildings Asset Management Plan 2025.
- Adopted the Land Improvements Asset Management Plan 2025.
- Received and noted ‘The Value of Blue Derby to the Tasmanian Economy, August 2025’ Report.
- Adopted reviewed Policy No. 2 – Councillor Expenses.
- Adopted the Schedule of Council Meeting dates for 2026
