Briefing of Decisions made at the Council Meeting held on 17 November at the Winnaleah Community Centre
- Held a meet and greet session prior to the Council Meeting for interested community members to meet and discuss general matters with Councillors and the Management Team.
- Received and noted the audited Financial Report for the year ended 30 June 2025.
- Received and noted the quarterly Financial Report for the period ended 30 September 2025; and by absolute majority approved variations to the 2025/26 Budget Estimates.
- Endorsed a procedural motion put forward by Councillor Hughes to defer the adoption of revised Policy No. 2 – Councillor Expenses for further consideration at a future Briefing Workshop.
- Appointed representatives to fill vacancies on various committees until the end of the elected term in 2026.
- Endorsed the letter of support for TasWater’s proposed Price and Service Plan 5 for the regulatory period 2026 – 2030, with the letter of support to be submitted to the Office of the Tasmanian Economic Regulator.
