Noted and considered correspondence received from the Minister for Local Government relating to Council’s submission on costs associated with the Dorset Board of Inquiry, with Council requesting Officers to prepare a closure report on the Board of Inquiry matter to be presented in open session at the 19 October 2026 Council Meeting, in the Closed Session portion of the Meeting.
Awarded Contract 2026/27-01: Side Loader Garbage Truck to the preferred tenderer as recommended by the Tender Assessment Committee, in the Closed Session portion of the Meeting.
Council, acting at the Planning Authority, approved a planning application for a change of use to visitor accommodation at Unit 1/11 Richard Street, Bridport, subject to conditions.
Endorsed the draft Policy No. 37 – Dog Management for community engagement. Endorsed an amendment to the 2026/27 Fees and Charges Schedule to reduce the Scottsdale Aquatic Centre Learn to Swim fee from $25 per session to $20 per session.
Noted the unconfirmed Audit Panel Committee minutes from August 2026 and the Pioneer Lake Advocacy Group meeting notes from September 2026 within the Executive Leadership Briefing Report.
