2027 Dorset Australia Day Awards | NOW OPEN
Nominations are now open for the Dorset Council Australia Day Awards.
The community is invited to consider nominating and celebrating the remarkable contributions of individuals, community groups, and organisations across our Council area.
The annual Australia Day Awards recognise and pay tribute to residents and groups who generously go above and beyond to improve the lives of others in our community.
This could be a friend, work colleague, club member or a quiet achiever in the community.
Council encourages people to take the time and submit a nomination for someone who is deserving of recognition through a 2026 Australia Day Award.
There are three categories to choose from:
Citizen of the Year
Young Citizen of the Year
Community Event of the Year
Nominations can be submitted until 5pm Wednesday, 16 December 2026.
