November works around Dorset
It’s shaping up to be a busy November for Council’s infrastructure and works teams, with projects underway right across the municipality.
🚧 Roads
- Resheeting on Sandy Points Road and Maxwell Street, Bridport
- Resheeting on New River Road and sections of Mathinna Plains Road, Ringarooma
- Resheeting on McDougalls Road, Legerwood
🏗️ Facilities & infrastructure
- Resurfacing of the Bridport Hall car park
- Planning and design for Council Chambers roof replacement and internal upgrades
- Electrical upgrades at North Scottsdale Hall
- Hot water upgrades at Bridport Football Club and Bridport Hall
- Replacement of selected Bridport Foreshore solar light batteries
- Demolition of the old building at Springfield Recreation Ground
- Removal or replacement of eight power poles across Dorset
🌿 Around our towns
- Slashing will commence in the Winnaleah area, alongside regular spring mowing, cleaning and maintenance.
- Council crews will also be busy preparing for and supporting the Ringarooma School & District Show and Scottsdale Show.
