Council wants to work with our community - gathering feedback when updating policies to ensure the needs of our community are always being met. Have your say on the revised Dorset Council Dog Management Policy.
Policy No. 37 - Dog Management (the Policy) was first adopted by Council in February 2011 and last reviewed in May 2021. It is scheduled on the 2026/27 Annual Plan for review in the September 2026 quarter.
The policy was endorsed for community engagement at the 21 September 2026 Council Meeting. To understand the changes being put forward please read the Agenda.
Council invites the community to participate in this review by providing feedback on the Policy over a four-week timeframe, with feedback closing on Wednesday, 21 October 2026.
Dorset Council have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act).
