Free Recycling Eligible Materials
FREE Recycling is available at the Waste Transfer Stations for the following materials:
- E-Waste (TV's, Computers, Printers and their parts and accessories)
- Polystyrene
- Car / Truck Batteries
- Household Batteries
- Steel
- Motor Vehicle Bodies
Other Recycling Options
Food Waste and Garden Organics can be composted, fed to livestock, used as mulch or even fed to worms. For more information on what can be used where head over to Rethink Waste for some great factsheets.
Hard to recycle materials, such as coffee pods, straws, toothpaste tubes and pens can all be recycled through TerraCycle
