Christmas Closure
The Dorset Council Offices will be closed from 12 noon – Wednesday, 24 December 2025 until 8.30 am – Monday, 5 January 2026. For emergencies, please contact our after-hours number on 1300 858 824.

Council advises the following kerbside collection dates for the Christmas / New Year period:

All Waste Transfer Stations will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day. Normal operating hours apply for the rest of the Christmas / New Year period.

Ratepayers are reminded that the third instalment of rates is due and payable by 31 January 2026.
