Council Officers recently undertook a review of operating hours of Council's Waste Transfer Stations, located at Scottsdale, Branxholm and Gladstone. This review took into consideration a number of factors including consistency of operating hours, work health and safety requirements, demand for service and community feedback.

Dorset Council has recently engaged with several interested community members who, after initial consultation made contact with Council with concerns regarding the proposed maintenance of the Avenue. Vale | Former Councillor Ronald “Russell” Brown

It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of former Councillor Russell Brown. Russell served as a Dorset Councillor from October 2011 until October 2014. Russell was a fierce advocate for his beloved Legerwood and surrounding area, was passionate about his community, provided considered feedback during debate and is remembered as a great story teller. The Commissioner, Management and Staff pass on their condolences to Russell’s family and friends at this difficult time.
